5. User Content & Intellectual Property
Your content remains yours. You retain all ownership rights to content you upload, create, or generate through the platform, including documents, brand profiles, strategies, and social media posts.
By using MediaBuilder, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. This includes:
- Analysing uploaded documents and website content to build brand voice profiles
- Sending content to AI providers for text and image generation
- Publishing your approved content to social media platforms on your behalf
This licence terminates when you delete your content or close your account. We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose other than delivering the service.
6. AI-Generated Content
MediaBuilder uses artificial intelligence to generate text, strategies, and images. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Review before publishing — All AI-generated content should be reviewed and approved by a human before publication. You are solely responsible for any content published through your connected accounts.
- No guarantee of accuracy — AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content.
- No guarantee of originality — While the AI generates content based on your brand voice, we cannot guarantee that generated content will not resemble content created by or for others.
- Compliance responsibility — You are responsible for ensuring that content published through the platform complies with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of service of each social media platform.
7. Social Media Account Connections
When you connect social media accounts to MediaBuilder:
- You authorise us to access and publish to those accounts via OAuth
- We store your access tokens securely (encrypted with AES-256)
- We will only publish content that has been explicitly reviewed and approved by you through the platform's workflow
- You may disconnect any account at any time from within the platform
- We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that may affect publishing functionality
You represent that you have the authority to connect and publish to any social media account you link to the platform.
8. LinkedIn Integration — Specific Terms
If you connect a LinkedIn account or LinkedIn Company Page to MediaBuilder, the following terms apply in addition to the rest of this agreement. A user-facing description of the integration is available on our LinkedIn Integration page.
8.1 LinkedIn API Terms compliance
The LinkedIn integration is provided in compliance with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and the LinkedIn developer policies in force from time to time. By using the integration, you also agree to comply with those terms when acting through MediaBuilder.
8.2 Authorisation to publish
You represent and warrant that, for every LinkedIn account or Company Page you connect:
- You either own the personal LinkedIn account, or you hold a current administrator role on the Company Page granted by the page's owner.
- You have the authority and consent of any other relevant stakeholder (employer, client, brand) to publish content on that page through MediaBuilder.
- You will disconnect the account immediately if any of the above ceases to be true.
8.3 Permitted uses
The LinkedIn integration may be used only to publish content that you have authored (with assistance from our AI tools) and explicitly approved through MediaBuilder's review workflow. Each post is sent to LinkedIn at a time you have selected, in accordance with LinkedIn's published rate limits.
8.4 Prohibited uses
You agree that you will not use the LinkedIn integration to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk content, or content that violates LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies.
- Automate connection requests, follows, messages, profile views, scraping, or any growth-hacking activity.
- Publish on accounts or Company Pages you are not authorised to administer.
- Misrepresent the source of content (e.g. publish as someone else without their authorisation).
- Resell, redistribute, or otherwise share LinkedIn data obtained through MediaBuilder with any third party.
- Attempt to circumvent the human approval workflow built into MediaBuilder, or use the integration in any way that exceeds the scopes documented on our LinkedIn Integration page.
8.5 Data handling
Data we obtain from LinkedIn (member profile, list of administered Company Pages, post confirmations, OAuth tokens) is handled in accordance with section 5 of our Privacy Policy. In particular, LinkedIn data is never sold, shared with third parties, used to train AI models, or used for advertising or audience-targeting purposes.
8.6 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the LinkedIn integration immediately, without notice, if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have breached this section, the LinkedIn API Terms, or LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies. We may also do so at LinkedIn's request, or if changes to LinkedIn's API or policies make the integration impractical to operate.
8.7 No affiliation
MediaBuilder is an independent product of Pyxsoft Computing Ltd. and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. "LinkedIn" is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation, used here solely to identify the third-party platform with which MediaBuilder integrates.
9. Acceptable Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate this acceptable use policy.
10. Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure MediaBuilder is available and operational. However:
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
- We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (social media APIs, AI providers, hosting infrastructure)
- In the event of service disruption, scheduled posts may be delayed or fail to publish
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant service disruptions and to resolve issues promptly.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- MediaBuilder is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or reputational harm resulting from content generated by AI or published through the platform
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the platform's account settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the platform will cease at the end of the current billing period
- We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Connected social media accounts will be disconnected and tokens revoked
- Scheduled but unpublished posts will not be published
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these terms or engage in activity that harms the platform or other users.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of MediaBuilder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of MediaBuilder after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using the platform and close your account.
